Before medicine, Dr. Butler was a collegiate track and field athlete. Years of training, residency, fellowship, and clinical work can change the relationship anyone has with exercise and recovery. This chapter is about reconnecting with movement in a way that fits the life she has now.

Travel creates space to reset, explore, try new food, experience new places, and step outside a profession that can easily consume every available hour. Here, travel is not positioned as escape from medicine. It is part of building a life worth returning to.
